Ryan Jonker is an active duty Marine based out of Washington D.C. and a performing member of "The Commandant's Own" United States Marine Drum & Bugle Corps. In addition to his tactical skills as a Marine and creative abilities as a professional musician, Ryan has extensive technical skills in the field of cybersecurity. Ryan received the CompTIA Security+ certification in 2021 and the CompTIA CySA+ certification in 2023. By engaging in penetration testing and various hacking challenges, he uses technical, tactical, and creative abilities to attack IT security problems and develop solutions for tomorrow’s systems.
Ryan is actively creating educational content via his YouTube channels and personal website, engaging with professionals in the IT community and stimulating new security ideas by furthering the conversation. The field of cybersecurity is constantly evolving and cyber attacks are becoming more frequent and dangerous than ever before. The ethical hackers of tomorrow will need the technical skills, tactical mindset, and creative abilities to adapt to a shifting digital landscape and defend our systems from criminals and bad actors.
